Honesty is our traditional virtue. As a child, my parents always place emphasis on the truth. Now, I frequently ask my little son to do this. but today, I am greatly embarrassed .
After his class, my lovely son feels very bored, so he is eager to play a game on my electric dictionary which is very expensive . My naughty son knows that it contains a great deal of interesting games. In order to avoid him, I usually keep it in my bag with precious things and am unwilling to give it to him. So I lied that it had been left in my office. After a while, my cute son took it by himself from my study room and said to me :’Dad , it is here. why you are lying to me? Dad should be honest. you are my role model and I learn from you .’ Suddenly , My head went blank, I did not to know what to say for a long time.
‘Dad,what’s wrong with you ? why are you silent.’ he said, tapping me on the back of my hand.
‘I didn’t remember that’, I said as a flush creeping up my neck.
